RESUMO
Ten healthy volunteers were administered orally 0.04ml of Chelidonium majus 6c t.d.s. for 21 days. Seven healthy volunteers were kept as controls and administered orally 0.04ml. of 90percent ethanol t.d.s. The trial was single blind. Fasting venous samples were collected before and after the trial. Serum samples were analysed for total bilirubin, albumin, globulin, total cholesterol, prothrombin time and GPT. Serum globulins registered an increase of 58percent, while the other parameters showed no changes

An attempt was made to evaluate changes of serum Na+, K+, T3 and T4 in healthy provers after treatment with Iodum. Iodum 12x was administered to a group of 11 healthy female students for 21 days. Serum Na+, K+, T3 and T4 were estimated before exhibition of the drug, and on the 11th and the last day of the trial. T3 showed an increase by 20//and T4 by 5//. Both Na+ and K+ were found to decrease, Na+ by 2//, K+ by 6
